Anchor Pull out testing, Schmidt Hammer test and Rebar Scanning on Steel Spreader Beams site for NOKIA (Telenor) and Palmet.
Nokia 101 Retrofit Project comprises of installation of Roof Top Transfer Beam, site layout, drilling & chemical anchoring activities.
Nokia Swapping of un-galvanized Bracing with Galvanizing parts for Rooftop towers at Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The job includes dismantling, cutting, drilling and adjustment of bracing parts.
Nokia Project 102, Installation of 6meter Roof Top Mono Pole with Bracing at Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi Regions. The job includes transportation from warehouses to sites, shifting/lifting on rooftop, layout, drilling, rebar grouting, pedestal making, diamond coring, erection & installation/assembling of poles etc.
Re-strengthening of NOKIA GREEN FIELD TELECOM TOWER FOUNDATION which includes Layout, Excavation, Drilling, Surface Preparation, and Chemical Grouting of Shear Connectors with Injection Mortar as per international standards and codes, Concreting, Backfilling, Compaction, Pressure Grouting of Non-Shrink Grout and Topping etc.

CIVIL WORKS FOR REHABILITATION OF KILN PIERS I,II & III
The project includes Repair of Structural Cracks in KILN PIERS using Crack Injection Technique, Chipping of surfaces of KILN PIERS # I, II & III (approximately 800 Sq. Meters) to expose Reinforcement and Drilling & Grouting of Steel Re-Bars #6 and #8 with embedment depth of 400mm & 500mm, respectively, with a total of 4,362 meters drilling & grouting.
The Rehabilitation project of Kiln Piers was designed by National Engineering Services (NESPAK) and Descon Engineering (PVT.) Limited was the Main Contractor.
The job successfully carried out well within the stipulated 15 days Plant Shut downtime, to the entire satisfaction of client.
The Pullout tests for Steel Re-bars was carried out to ensure the loads ensured.

RE-STRENGTHENING OF R.C.C COLUMNS – COMPRESSORS BUILDING
The project comprises of Concrete chipping 40-50mm maximum over the R.C.C. Column, Soffit & Floor surfaces and vibration free Diamond drilling & steel Re-Bars Grouting using High-Efficiency Machines fro DR. SCHULZE (GERMANY). De-dusting, Brushing, Blowing of Dust and Grouting of Rebar #4 & # 8 using SIMPSON STRONG-TIE ET-22 (USA), NON-SHRINK, EPOXY GROUT, as per International codes & practices.
The project was Plant Shut Down type and with effective use of Project Management Tools almost 80% job completed before actual Plant shut Down. The Pullout tests for Steel Re-bars was carried out to ensure the loads ensured.
The project designed by one of the most experienced Structural Engineer Mr. Fayyaz Ahmad and shuttering and concrete work carried out by M/s SINACO ENGINEERS (PVT.) Limited.

SAIFEE ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING SERVICES FOR PILING JOB
Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services has successfully accomplished the Gigantic Deep Holes in RCC Raft 700 mm diameter and 2500mm deep using hydraulically driven Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services system, at 39 locations to suffice the PILING requirement to erect PRE-HEATER Steel structure at Mustehkam Cement Limited, Farooqia, NWFP.
The Pilot Core Barrel with diameter 700mm & length 500mm was used in first stage followed by Barrel Dia 700x1500mm and Dia 700×3000 mm.
After accomplishment of desired depth of diamond drilling the extraction of concrete cores are done using Cranes / Chain Block system.
The project is Capacity Expansion project with structural design provided by the LOYA Associates. The job of Deep Holes is completed well before the stipulated time frame.
Additionally, Hundreds of Diamond Cores of varying Diameters have been core drilled & several hundred Mtrs. RCC have been cut using Hydraulic Wall saw equipment at MCL expansion project during 2008-09.
Habib Bank Limited
HBL PLAZA, I.I. CHUNDRIGARH ROAD, KARACHI.
Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services was called upon by Pakistan’s Leading Structural Consultant Engr. Abdul Razzak Loya of M/s LOYA ASSOCIATES (LA) for the Gigantic task of Structural Rehabilitation & Re-Strengthening of 546 Nos. Trapezoidal boxes or Facades hanging on HBL’s front & back elevation.
Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services made a comprehensive site visit & later on proposed the Structural & Architectural remedial measures which were accepted & acknowledged by LA and recommended for Execution to HBL thru Planning & Construction Management (PCM), the Project Managers.
Initially the plan was to work with Scaffolds at both Crescents (Northern & Southern D) from Ground upto 16th floor only, however due to delay in arrival of Suspended Mechanized Gantry by HBL, Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services at their own cost raised the Scaffolds upto roof level (24th Floor) at front end (Northern D) in good faith for project’s early completion.
After Scaffolds were raised, Electric Breakers were used to break the Top portion of the Facades. Then Rebar dowels of 10mm (3/8″ dia) using Injection Technique Epoxy were drilled using Electric Hammer Drilling machines on all 4 sides of the broken top portion (from top). Additionally both sides & bottom of the existing Facade were also connected into HBL’s main frame structure by same Rebar doweling technology, however for this application ½” dia rebar was used. Thus the suspended Trapezoidal facade became a structural element. Total Holes Drilled approx. 100,000 Nos.
Then fresh Concrete having 1:1.5:3 ratio and strength of 4,000 psi was poured in the Top portion and sides & edges were repaired very carefully with LSR to match with existing facade’s color & appearance and to avoid shrinkage & cracks. Lastly, VH fair face was applied on the whole Facade area plus Straight walls after carefully Chipping the loose concrete, repairing with SBR chemical and washing with anti grime chemical. This gave the whole HBL plaza a newish yet concrete texture look & appearance as per Client’s, Project Manager’s & Consultant’s requirements.
Project was completed in record time of 18 months despite facing several challenges during the execution mainly relating to LIVE surroundings & LIVE working of the HBL plaza building & the fact that Gantry was handed over to Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services after 16 months of project’s start date.
This is the 1st ever Turnkey project executed by Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services of this magnitude which included multi disciplinary scopes, also beating the historic Lucky Cement in value.
Sukkur Barrage
UNDERWATER SAIFEE ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING SERVICES IN PIERS, DIAMOND SAW CUTTING
Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services for the very 1st time in Pakistan performed Under Water Diamond Coring services with the latest state of the art Hydraulically powered Equipments ensuring Zero vibration operation.
The client Mehran Engg. Works (MEW) awarded the Contract to Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services for specialized works involving 5 Nos. Cores of 10″ dia and 5 feet deep in PCC and Limestone gravel bed of Sukkur barrage, in 20 feet depth.
INDUS DIVERS provided the highly skilled Divers for accomplishing this next to impossible task.
Client MEW & Project Owner Irrigation department Sindh were interested to check Scouring under the Concrete bed of Sukkur barrage, hence this job was performed with Vibration less technology as the Piers were already damaged & cracks were evolving.
With this high speed & modern technology available with Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services, the task of months was performed in record time of 1 Core per day, viz. 5 Cores achieved in less than 5 days.Additionally, FRONTIER WORKS ORGANIZATION awarded Saifee Engineering & Contracting Services with another prestigious & Milestone project for 75 Nos. Diamond cores of 62mm dia x 3.40 Meters deep to be Core drilled in Piers of Sukkur Barrage with similar Vibration less technology for Strengthening of damaged/cracked Piers.
Diamond Saw Cutting was also done at several locations across the Barrage as per Contractor FRONTIER WORKS ORGANIZATION’s requirements for Repairs & extensions of concrete structure throughout the project.
